Tony Bellomo asks the young adults at St. Ephrem what the Light of Christ means to them.

A J Bellomo Studios works with faith communities to participate in the sacred symbols of their worship space.

More than buying art,
you are buying the facilitator of community involvement with the development and construction of the church,
often resulting in a renewed spirit of the congregation.

Members enjoy each other's company while working on the tiles. Conversation, laughter, and even tears brought us closer to each other and to our Lord.“It Takes a Community To Make a Baptismal Font”

Liturgical Artwork

When turning 30 and after our second son was born I would tell my students ” good craftsmanship is a dying art”. I left art education after 12 years and opened the building company and art studio with the intent of dispelling that notion and building churches. I remember my attorney, accountant and Insurance provider laughing at my dream.

Since than I’ve grown to realize others’ dreams by remodeling their homes or communities. I’ve met and worked for so many wonderful people over the past 32 years and have grown to respect many viewpoints and lifestyles without judgment. The works on this site are examples of client’s dreams that they have shared with me. I have built their sacred spaces and made places and objects to help them rest and think, meditate or pray in there own way.

This may be a stretch but I see myself as being their personal church builder.

Thank you all for your continued trust and I invite new comers into the dream.
